For the "Curator" section of this semester, we were asked to create 3 online spaces, such as pinterest, instagram or tumblr, and curate them over the following week. During our brief, I came up with some ideas for an instagram feed whee all of the tiles combine into one long image. I played with the idea of portraits, but in the end stuck with my first idea, which was to create an artificial desk, containing the items which artists from a variety of disciplines would use.
I started with my own area of art, drawing. I took swore photos of the bottom half of pencils, top half, 6 of a notebook, and an eraser. I uploaded these in a certain order so that they looked like one image of a drawer's set up.

My next idea, which I considered the easiest choice, was a youtube playlist of art tutorials. This was an easy choice as this is already my main source of art tips and tricks. I tart by combining any videos I could remember using into the playlist, and for the rest of week added any extra videos that I came across.

And lastly, I chose to make a pinterest board. I chose the first image from the main page that caught my interest, and went from there. Whenever you 'pin' an item on pinterest, the website shows you more of the same sort of pins that it thinks you may like. This ended up taking me down a rabbit hole which seemed to again lead to creating a board of at tips tricks and tutorials. Some of the items I pinned weren't however, so I decided to split the board into 2, of tutorials and or inspiration.
