Because of being ill, I had to do my woodworking induction individually after the rest of the group. I scheduled to do it in the hour before our Drawing Machine group was going to come down and build the frame, so that I could jump straight into helping them afterwards. The tutor showed me around the machines - the Band Saw, the Belt Sander, The Mortiser, and others. I tested each of the machines on a piece of wood, cutting it to length, sanding an end round, drilling a hole through it and finally using the pneumatic nail gun to put 3 nails into it. It was the shortest of the inductions, as I was the only person he had to show around.
